Join us as we paint Sausalito, August 17 through September 10!
Fifteen renowned Plein Air artists will exhibit their existing work and participate in two live Wet Paint Days throughout downtown Sausalito.
Artists will capture the unique charm of the Sausalito waterfront, parks and downtown area, and stunning views of San Francisco. The public can stroll through Sausalito to watch these talented artists creating a sense of place in this legendary town, right before your eyes.
The Plein Air exhibition features each artist’s unique plein air style, responding to shifting light, cloud patterns, and the challenges of painting out of doors.
After each Wet Paint Day, art lovers are invited to be the first to see the new creations at our Afternoon Showcase from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Art will be judged by Camille Przewodek, an acknowledged authority on color who regularly serves as an entry and awards judge for various painting competitions and events. Awards in multiple artistic categories will be presented Saturday, August 26 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM .

Join us for your last look at Paint Sausalito and enjoy an informal conversation about Plein Air Painting with Exhibit Judge and award winning artist Camille Prezwodek.
The discussion features Plein Air artists Douglas Andelin, Wendy Franklin, Clark Mitchell, and Randall Stauss.
Wine and refreshments will be served.
No ticket needed.

Wednesday - Sunday - 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
View a collection of previously created artwork from each artist participating in Wet Paint Days. It’s your opportunity to explore the style and talent of each artist while anticipating their new creations.
August 23 and 25 - 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Experience the creative process while art comes to life before your eyes.
Artists will paint outdoors at Vina del Mar Park, Bridgeway sidewalk, Gabrielson Park, Spinnaker waterfront, Cascais Plaza and Downtown Sausalito.
Each artist will interpret the scene in their unique style.
August 23 and 25 - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Enjoy a no-host bar, and be the first to see the new creations as we welcome the artists to SCA to exhibit their freshly painted work.
Artwork will be hung and become part of the exhibit while the paint dries.
August 26 - 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Our judge, Camille Przewodek, will announce the winners in multiple artistic categories. Camille is a Signature Member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters and the California Art Club; and a Master Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society, Oil Painters of America, and American Women Artists. She is an authority on color, and conducts painting workshops across the United States.
Join us for an awards party and presentation of awards, as we exhibit all new works of art.
Our no-host bar will be open as we admire the new works of art and celebrate the artists creative accomplishments.
