The Heart Of Artistic Expression In Downtown Sausalito
SCA has created a unique venue that intersects culture, art and community. In doing so, we are establishing a real Center of the City and sending vibrant and positive energy to our citizens, visitors, families, businesses and city leadership.
Our programs are meant to offer diverse creative expression that builds connections, creates dialogue and reflects and transforms our community. Topics can be serious or whimsical, but relevant to the world today.
Visual Art
The visual arts are part of Sausalito’s DNA and SCA will be used for showcase the creative expression of local Sausalito artists, with exhibits open to the public.
It will also serve as a venue for artists throughout Marin County, the Bay Area and beyond who desire an exhibit location as stunning as their work.

Culture
SCA is a place to hear music, watch performances, enjoy a variety of exhibits held throughout the year - highlighting plein air artists, watercolorists, modern, abstract, traditional, and textile artists, sculptors, spoken word evenings, dance and music recitals, and lectures.

Education
Classes will be held in the facility and around the property for both adults and children.
Demonstration of art, history and appreciation, sketch classes, children’s art exhibits, adult classes in weaving and rehearsals.

The Center will support all aspects of community and establish a collaborative and supportive environment for group activities, social engagement, public information and other purposes.

Meeting Venue
The Center is the new venue in Sausalito to hold events, conferences, corporate meetings and workshops, providing meeting space that is not currently available in many of our restaurants or hotels.
SCA is available to rent to individuals and organizations of all size.
