The Sausalito Center for the Arts, in collaboration with the National Sculpture Society (NSS), presents The Art of Form: Perspectives from The West, a juried sculpture exhibition opening May 22 featuring works by 24 accomplished sculptors from across the western United States. Opening May 22, the show presents 39 sculptures alongside additional visual art by several iconic Bay Area artists.

The exhibit emphasizes traditional craftsmanship and natural inspiration, a hallmark of NSS’s 130-year mission to promote excellence in sculpture and was juried by Pati Stajcar, an elected Member of NSS and Lori Shorin, a fellow of NSS, along with SCA Executive Director Shiva Pakdel.

Showcase 25 brings together SCA artist members in a juried exhibition where individual series are created for 5’×5’ spaces, offering 25 unique voices in one dynamic exhibition.

This distinctive format invites artists to go deeper, developing cohesive bodies of work that reflect their individual voice, process, and point of view. The result is a collection of twenty-four mini exhibitions, each offering a compelling and personal exploration of subject, material, and meaning.

The Sausalito Landscape Festival celebrates the landscape through two complementary exhibitions: a live plein air invitational featuring artists painting throughout Sausalito and a juried exhibition showcasing landscape, seascape, and cityscape paintings from California artists..

Throughout August, visitors are invited to experience landscapes through the eyes of painters who capture the beauty, atmosphere, and changing light of the places that inspire them.
