Every item at Corner Shop is hand-selected from artists and makers — including painters, textile designers, fashion innovators, and ceramicists. From one-of-a-kind jackets to small-batch homeware, the shop offers pieces that are as functional as they are expressive. Shop limited-edition art prints, original art, wearable statements, handmade decor, and accessories that turn everyday life into a creative act.

California Grown – an exhibit by Marin-based woodturning artist Niles Wertz – invites visitors to explore the hidden, inner beauty of trees native to the Bay Area. Through wooden bowls, platters, furniture and sculptures crafted from salvaged wood, Wertz highlights the grains, hues and forms of species such as Bay Laurel, Sycamore, Redwood, Walnut and Coast Live Oak, all sourced from local trees that might otherwise have been discarded.
The exhibit opens December 3 at Cornershop SCA (inside the Sausalito Center for the Arts building) and runs through January 25, with an opening party on Saturday, December 13 from 2-4 pm.
