The Sausalito Center For The Arts is thrilled to present PERSPECTIVE / SF, an extraordinary exhibition featuring the diverse and dynamic work of artists from 1890 Bryant Street Studios, one of the most iconic creative spaces in the Bay Area. Located in the heart of the Inner Mission District, the building at 1890 Bryant has a colorful history. Once the home of Best Foods Mayonnaise, this industrial space was reborn in 2004 as a thriving artist collective—and has since become a cultural landmark in San Francisco’s evolving artscape.

Today, more than 100 painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers, and mixed-media artists call 1890 Bryant home. It is a place where ideas flourish, disciplines intersect, and creativity is constantly in motion. For years, their annual open studios have drawn art lovers, collectors, and curators from across the region, eager to see the raw, unfiltered work that pulses out of this converted warehouse.

Now, for the first time, this remarkable community of artists is exhibiting their work outside of their legendary San Francisco studio. PERSPECTIVE / SF brings together a curated selection of these visionary voices—each offering a unique lens into the rich tapestry of Bay Area art.

This is a rare opportunity to experience the spirit, depth, and diversity of 1890 Bryant's artists in one collective presentation. Whether you're a seasoned collector, a casual enthusiast, or simply curious, you’ll be drawn into a vivid world of creative exploration—from bold abstractions and contemplative landscapes to thought-provoking installations and unexpected materials.

Join us in celebrating the artistry, the energy, and the enduring legacy of a building that continues to shape the cultural identity of San Francisco—and now, Sausalito.

Don’t miss this remarkable convergence of place, people, and perspective.
