Event: Special selection of shorts from our "Stop Octopus Farming Showcase" film, now including a short book reading of "The Soul of an Octopus" by naturalist and author Sy Montgomery. We will also feature an exhibition of octopus‑inspired artwork from international and Bay Area artists. The centerpiece of the event will be a virtual reading and conversation with Shelby Van Pelt, author of Remarkably Bright Creatures.”

Books provided by Sausalito Books by the Bay. Proceeds from the event will go toward the development of an animated short film with an award-winning filmmaking team to help stop the world's first commercial industrial farming of octopuses.
