Open Inquiry: UC Arts brings together emerging artists from the University of California’s leading art programs at UCLA, UC Berkeley, and UC Davis. Featuring current students and graduates from the past two decades, the exhibition highlights innovative, research-driven practices across painting, sculpture, installation, performance, and digital media.

Framing artistic practice as a form of inquiry, Open Inquiry presents the studio as a site of experimentation, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving. At a time when public arts education faces increasing challenges, the exhibition affirms the vital role of UC arts programs in fostering intellectual freedom, social engagement, and artistic discovery.

Let the power of the spoken word entertain and transport you to a deeper understanding of yourself, your community, and the world.

Join host Corey Rosen — veteran of The Moth, creator of Simply Said at the Lark Theater, and author of Your Story, Well Told — for the exciting Word of Mouth, a storytelling series at the Sausalito Center For The Arts.

Each show brings together an enthusiastic audience of story lovers — some there to listen, and others brave enough to take the stage. The stories are short (just 5 minutes), absolutely true, and told without notes in the tradition of The Moth.

Whether you come to tell or just to listen, you’ll leave inspired, moved, and maybe even laughing through tears. It’s not a performance. It’s not a contest (okay, maybe a little). It’s a celebration of honesty, humor, and the simple magic of one human voice in a room full of others.
