Once a year only, artists across Marin open their creative spaces to the public. This much-anticipated event takes you behind the scenes May 2-9 and May 9-10 from 11am to 6pm. 

Start your art adventure at the Marin Open Studios Showcase Gallery at Sausalito Center for the Arts to see work from each of the 260 artists in one place. Then visit your favorite artists in their studios, discover their spaces nearby, see artwork up close, and support local artists by directly purchasing work. Sculpture, abstract and figurative painting, ceramics and pottery, photography, mixed media, textiles, jewelry, watercolor, pastels, glass, drawing, wood, encaustics, digital media, and much more - there is so much to experience.

For 33 years, Marin Open Studios has been the heartbeat of Marin's art community, connecting thousands of art lovers with hundreds of talented local artists each year. We are raising much needed funds to continue our mission to spotlight local artists and enrich our community year-round through vibrant, accessible art experiences.

This exciting benefit brings art lovers and local artists together for a spectacular evening. Set in a former-bank-turned-art-space, the Showcase Gallery opens with a party! Guests can unlock surprises in the historic bank vault during the Pick-a-Treasure game, fill an original art box with chocolates they select from a local chocolatier, sip on special wines from the wine pull, and bid on incredible vacation stays in the auction. With a tasting table, an open bar, and the first look at the latest gallery exhibition, it’s an unforgettable night celebrating art and community.

This is also your chance to purchase artwork in the Showcase Gallery as it officially opens to the public.
